Is Arvo regulated?
Yes. Arvo is currently in the process of obtaining a crowdfunding license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) within the DIFC. Each investment will be structured through a dedicated Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), ensuring legal separation and protection of investor assets.
How does Arvo work?
Users can browse and fund individual real estate deals via Arvo’s platform, similarly to any other property website. Users are able to invest from $100 up to $50,000 into a single property. Upon funding, a property is purchased and a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) is issued to represent its ownership. You receive shares in that SPV proportional to your investment. Rental income and potential capital gains after the property is sold are distributed back to investors wallets on Arvo that are withdrawable at anytime.
Will I get rental income after investing $100? Isn't it too expensive?
Yes, even a $100 investment earns you a proportional share of the rental income. For example, if the property has an annual net yield of 6%, you’d receive ~$6 per year. We designed Arvo to be affordable—fractional ownership via SPVs gives access to high-quality properties without needing large capital.
How is the asset sold? When can I get my money back?
Properties are held for a predefined investment term—typically 3–5 years. At the end, the property is sold and proceeds distributed to shareholders. If you need liquidity earlier, Arvo will offer a secondary market where you can sell your shares to other users at least twice a year, subject to demand.
How is the property managed?
Each property is professionally managed by trusted real estate firms. They handle tenants, maintenance, and operations. Arvo supervises the managers and provides performance updates, so you stay informed without needing to be hands-on.
How risky is the investment? Are there any guarantees?
Like any real estate investment, risks include vacancy, price drops, or delays in rent. There are no guarantees on returns. However, all projects are vetted, the legal structure is regulated, and investor funds are secured via SPVs, which adds layers of security.
